Sears TLS

US retail giant Sears offered this SLR for 35mm film beginning in 1967. [1] It is a rebadging of the Ricoh Singlex TLS. The original version features a prominent Sears nameplate on the pentaprism and T•L•S with red dots separating the letters. (The manual and most of the catalogs style the model designation as "T.L.S.")

The TLS uses stop down metering and accepts common 42mm screw lenses.

A restyled version from 1971 [2] adds a stylized SR (for Sears, Roebuck) in "atomic" script and puts a more discreet Sears nameplate at the bottom right of the camera's front. This style was also sold in black.
